Hillary to the thousand plus Duers- YOU NEED TO START PAYING ATTENTION
A message to the thousand plus DUers that think Hillary should drop out of the race, for the good of the party. When Hillary was confronted with these concerns, that her continued campaigning was hurting the party, here is what she had to say:

"anyone who believes this is bad for the party I just think is not paying attention..."

So why don't you DUers start paying attention for a change? Start following the news and the campaign! Don't be an ignorant, poorly informed moran!:sarcasm:

11. Bought it with a measley $28.00 bucks that the people will never
see. That tax is collected by the oil companies.

Anyone who thinks that the oil companies won't raise the price of gas by 20 cents and put that tax money in their own pockets instead of passing the savings on to the consumers should allow me to sell them a bridge I own in Brooklyn.

29. At this point a holiday would be a "hidden" tax, considering it's
effects upon so many other things, such as infrastructure that will degrade and be more costly to fix, once states DO find the money to do it, not to mention the risks and costs to persons using faulty infrastructure.

5. I'm torn myself. I know she has very little chance of winning and can't think of any examples of
someone in her position pushing the primary this far, however she has played this so dirty that the republicans will have nothing to go after our nominee on come the general. I think she is doing us a favor, though at the expense of her donors and all those unpaid vendors. Obama will be inoculated from all the ridiculous smear campaigns republicans win on traditionally.

47. Bwahahaha!
Not one single place in your link did Hillary mention DU. So what makes you think that DU is singled out by this comment? As far as the 1200 being a polling number...only if you are polling a group with 98% Obama supporters to start with. It is not a valid poll number when the majority of the people here support one candidate, that makes for skewed results.

49. What a bizarre way of looking at things
She insulted everyone that thinks she is hurting the Democratic party. What was she supposed to do? Gather up the names of everyone that knows she is hurting the Democratic party and read it in the interview?!?!? Then again, I understand that her and Bill do keep an enemies list, so maybe my suggestion wasn't all that impractical.

Still she insulted any DUer that knows she is hurting the party. She didn't have to name names.

What you posted is the same as telling a black person that shoulded be insulted by someone using the the N word, because they were named specifically.

45. Search my username. I HAVE defended her.
I went around for months trying to EXPLAIN her IWR vote to others. Tried to talk about all of the factors trhat one would weigh in making such a decision. My DAUGHTER was supporting her and I really care about what my daughter thinks.

But then, watching and listening to her campaign, I figured out the answer to what is the main question at this time. Why did she support the chance that thousands and thousands of INNOCENT peope would die, there would be an increase in world-wide terrorism, and we would enslave the Children of this country to our war-debt? Answer: Because she planned to run for pResident and needed to show that she is "strong on defense".

I know I'm saying she just supported the chance that these things would happen, but I consider what has happened to be so hideous that supporting even just the chance of such things, AND FOR WHAT??? - to fit her candidate profile, is bad beyond anything I can do to make myself accept it.

46. No need, we believe you
I also understand what you are saying. It's always been obvious that many of the Dems that supported Bush's war did so for selfish reasons (they didn't want to be hurt politically). Considering what the repuke scum did to the likes of Cam Cleeland, it wasn't an unreasonable position. However when you want to claim the ultimate office, what's reasonable for a mere Senator, becomes unacceptable.

52. This discussion usually devolves into people saying "HC did not vote for the war." Which is trueBut
She supported what was at LEAST a 50:50 chance that these things would happen and, though normally 50:50 is indeterminant, we are talking such a HORROR, such HUGE longlasting effects, that indeterminant is NOT acceptable.

Have you seen the stories about how many troops, who SHOULD be happy they survived Iraq, are attempting SUICIDE, with many of them succeeding. That fact is absolutely Hideous.

The Clintons are MORALLY BANKRUPT. Their triangulating DLC is just "a tad" less evil than the GOP in it's love for placing Corporations BEFORE individual American citizens.

They WILL destroy our party because if they CHEAT their way to the nomination - all the "guilt tripping" in the world will not return the democratic base in November.

All that power and privilege over the past 15-20 years have DELUDED both Clintons into believing that *anyone* from the GOP of the 90s (Murdoch, Kristol, O'Reilly, Scaife, etc.) would "even consider" voting for her in the G.E.

I have nothing but contempt for the mere notion of another "Clintonian DLC" Presidency.

It is a mathematical impossibility for her to take the nomination from Obama and there is no way in hell the supers are going to cut loose the African-American voters and Obama's donor base. Whatever she's doing now is a race for 2012 if Obama loses (and she's trying her best to make sure he does).
