Questions about a YouTube clip


I've been a bit reluctant to post the day's much-emailed, 15-year old clip from 'The War Room' for a couple of reasons -- vintage, and differences from the original.

So this is kind of interesting: Mickey Kantor claims that the clip, in which subtitles have him claiming that the people of Indiana are ... excrement ... and then using a racial slur has been doctored.

He claims to have been deriding the polls, not the people, of Indiana -- I can't actually make out the word. And he denies using the n-word.

Take a look at the recently posted video; and compare with the video and audio around 4:45 from this fuller clip from the video. The offensive bit, which doesn't quite seem to match his lips, is also totally inaudible in the original. It seems to have been added in the new version.

Hoosiers makes no sense, especially after they had gone down the long list of positive results--must more logical that they were jubilant over their opponents' "shitting" over these results.

And on the undoctored video others have linked here there is NO audible racial slur. And even if he wanted to say such things, no one in that room would have been dumb enough to utter such a slur when he was so obviously aware he was being filmed.

The burden of proof is on the people doing the disparaging of Kantor and that burden is not met.
