1. So why did Katie attack with Rove talking points and Bush TV ad |
|
speech lies with no time for Edwards to respond in full to all the ways they were lies?
Is she trying for Tim's job?

2. p***-poor performance by Katie, a Democrat |
|
She is probably anxious to show how "objective" she is. She's welcome to give them these easy or tough questions, as long as she does the same with other guests. But there is no need to turn off the smile that she would give every other guest, and as you say, she needs to give them time to give intelligent answers instead of sound bites.
Elizabeth nailed it, something like this: "the problems in the system are complex...trial lawyers are easy targets for the Republicans, who aren't really trying to solve the problems."

3. I don't know. When I saw Laura Bush was going to be on to talk |
|
about the reasons for going to war, I decided to watch Bonanza! :dem:
I used to love the Today show and now I can't stand to watch it most days -- Katie and Ann can't interview their way out of a bag!

5. Today Show lost me years ago. Katie and Matt are TV-Lite |
|
They seem the most happy when they flirt during broadcasts. I watched the Today Show pretty regularly through the years and their show caved big time to charges of media being too liberal. Bryant Gumble never backed down.
