Hillary: We should be more like the Republicans
Clinton called her base of support "broader and deeper" than Obama's, and said, "At the end of the day, that's what it should be about for Democrats. You know, it is who can better win. And I've won the big states. I've won the states that we have to anchor. If we had the Republican rules, I would already be the nominee."

1. If her support is "broader and deeper," then why is she losing?

11. Who apparently also don't show up in polls. Or for rallies.
Or for, you know, existence.

3. Hillary is already way too much like a 'puke to suit most Dems imo,
like voting for the IWR and having the balls to show she's tough on terraists, like a willingness to obliterate a nation of 70 million people if they don't play nice. :D

4. BTW the statement isn't even true
A guy on another forum actually did calculate how the Dem primary would go with the Republican rules out of curiosity and discovered that Obama would still be ahead, though by a lower margin. However he'd also be closer to clinching the nomination because the Republicans have less superdelegates.

5. When reading the article you posted, Sen. Clinton is quoted
as saying this first:"I think that this is such a close election, why would any of us think that it shouldn't go to the end? We've got a process. The rules are it goes all the way into June. Let's follow the rules and get to those June contests and see where are."
The part you post is stated at the end of the article, and I conclude she has deduced that it is better to follow the rules other wise using the Republican way of doing things would of curtailed the race, and She states that it it the rules that she intends to follow.

6. Higgins: What can't a woman be more like a man?
And, apparently, that's Hillary's strategy.

7. I'm not sure that that's possible for her.
As for the rest of us, it's the last think we need to be.

9. If Hillary like the Rethug's rules so much why doesn't she just swtich and become one?
She seems to like using their tactics, saying they are right about this or that, why doesn't she swtich affialitations?

12. That's not what she said
she was referring to winner take all vs. proportional representation.

However, she IS correct in one general aspect- if Dems actually stood up and fought for progressive causes- and fought to win like Republicans do, the country wouldn't be in anywhere near the sorry shape it's in.
