IF you listened to the Doctored version BEFORE listening to original
Edited on Fri May-02-08 12:36 PM by IWantAnyDem
Go back to the original, turn it Waaaaaaaaaaay up and listen to it again several times.

Your perception of the original WILL be altered if you heard the doctored versioin first. Believe me, I could hear the "N" word clear as a bell when I listened to the original.

I had to turn the sound all the way up on my computer and listen again several times.

Kantor DID NOT use the "n" word. HE also DID NOT call the people of Indiana shit. He said they were shitting in the white house.

3. That's my take on it.
THe first had subtitles which makes it easy to assume what's being said is really there. When I listened to the original I did not hear the N word and I had the sound up as high as it would go.

A panel of sound engineers will figure this out. If this really is a fake someone was really pretty stupid to believe it wouldn't get debunked quickly.

I bit on the first version posted here this am...for a short time then I thought what asshole would say something like that knowing cameras where rolling and then what asshole would let them put it in the movie ..then what asshole republican missed it and never got a chance to use it...

While I don't much care for Hillary ..I don't buy the white N clip....and Hillary or Obama are really when you boil it all down 2 very good canidates..I do like the change in tone Obama brings to things and would really love for him to win though.

5. I'm so back and forth on this
You're part right...At 4:49 into it, he does seem to say to Carville "Thoe people are shitting..Oh Excuse me" and looks up, realizes he's being observed, and pauses for a beat. At 4:52 he either says "Whitehouse" or "right now"

But then Kantor moves to Stephanopolis, and at 4:53 he begins "How would you like to be..." At this point Kantor's mouth no longer appears to move in synch with the audio. At 4:55-56, Someone - it sounds like Kantor - says "worthless white nigger."

The N word is clear, whether I'm watching his lips or not.

I just can't confirm that Kantor said it. Could have been Carville, Stephanopolis, or even the camerman.

Verdict - Inconclusive, but definitely NOT debunked.
