The Tide Turns, Even On Sports Talk Radio! |
|
I was listening to the local sports talk show on AM1270 in Detroit.
One of the guys went on a rant about how many times Fox showed Poppy and Babs at the All Star Game, pointing out that Fox is known to be pro-Republican, and kept showing shots of the spawners of evil as a means to subtly push Dubya's campaign.
I was waiting for the other announcer to take issue with his statements, but to my surprise, he not only agreed, but went into his own spiel about Bush, during which he referred to him as a "putz".
That's sports talk radio in the major market in one of the largest swing states, folks.
There is something in the air. It smells like victory.

1. UnFrigginReal! This ..what they said is true.. |
|
but you don't expect sportscasters or anyone else on the tube or radio to breathe it outloud!
"kept showing shots of the spawners of evil as a means to subtly push Dubya's campaign."
They didn't really say that, did they? }(

Probably not, since it's not in quotes. But I'll settle for "PUTZ" any day.

That part was all me.}(
But the fact that Bush is being called a putz on a sports show is a real sign of a shift in opinion in this country, in my opinion.

Most sports journalists are lefties...
Is that counterintuitive or not?
