1. They're gone but Imus is saying...
He thinks Edwards is a good pick for VP. Smart guy.
He doesn't think Bush is a bad guy but he is "surrounded by evil people".
He named Cheney as one of them and that little twerp (?) over at the Pentagon.
He implied he is voting Dem unless Bush drops Cheney and selects McCain or Giuliani as a running mate. Then he would have difficulty deciding.

2. He's now ragging on Bush while his sycophants complain about Dems.
"I'd rather have a lawyer in the WH than someone who couldn't make it through law school."

3. Ha ha. Tried to trip him up on milk prices and he NAILED it!
Though NewsQuax thinks he FAILED IT!

IMUS: "...Do you think Vice President Cheney knows what a gallon of milk costs in Albuquerque, New Mexico - or a six-pack of Budweiser?" And I said, "Probably not."

You were just in Albuquerque. Do you know?

EDWARDS: I know about what it costs.

IMUS: What do you think a gallon of milk costs in Albuquerque?

EDWARDS: A gallon - I think a half-a-gallon of milk costs about $$2.30 - $2.40. Isn't that right?

IMUS: No. A gallon costs $2.99 in Albuquerque. Actually it costs four -

6. Yep. You save a lot by buying it by the gallon
which is up to 4 bucks here in NYC.

5. USDA June04 nat'l avg: $3.52/gal for 2%, $3.66/gal for whole.
No data for New Mexico, but Phoenix AZ is slightly above the national average. Sounds to me like Edwards nailed the question.
