7. You mentioned Elton John songs and left out "Burn Down The Mission"?
Edited on Fri May-02-08 11:14 PM by Ken Burch
It'd be a great anthem to use against the religious right.

Or "Border Song", which can be used to talk about both bigotry and the immigration issue.

13. I'll second that!
My favorite Springsteen song.

I voted for "Thunder Road". The acoustic version on the 1986 live album is haunting.

15. Interesting that the Clinton campaign was using Springsteen's "Land of Hope and Dreams"
before Springsteen's endorsement. I guess they aren't using it anymore?

19. My theory with both Elton John and Neil Diamond
Anything they put out on UNI records was great. When that label went under, neither of them were the same.

Hey, I got that record!

18. "The E Street Shuffle"
Off the album "The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle". I especially like the live version off the album "Hammersmith Odeon, London '75". Listen to the two versions and except for the same lyrics, you wouldn't even know it was the same song!! Steven Van Zandt's guitar work on the live version is simply amazing!!!
