Screw Whoopie! When will Kerry stand behind me?
Edited on Thu Jul-15-04 04:32 PM by sangh0
I'm not black, and I'm not on TV or in the movies, but I did raise money for Kerry and yesterday, someone called me a poopie-head.

When is Kerry going to speak up for me? And what about those drowning puppies? Has Kerry forsaken them also?

5. Whoopi's a very smart woman.

She knew what she was doing. And it may well have been worth the contract to be able to say what she did.

7. I take it the answer is no
As to if she is over or underpaid that is a relative statemnt I would think. She is an Oscar winning actress and I would be willing to bet she is paid lower than the average Oscar winning actress.

8. And I bet she doesn't get as much support from Kerry
Edited on Thu Jul-15-04 05:00 PM by sangh0
as the average Oscar winning actress, either.

And BTW, I make less than the average programmer, so I can relate to Whoopie. I still don't think she should get a individualized defense from the Kerry team, but I can relate.

9. Something tells me...

She won't be visiting People in Peril shelters or washing windshields for a dollar. She knew what she was doing. She made a splash, and that's okay. She's a celebrity, she'll survive.

11. She lost a product endorsement
because of her big fat mouth. She is hardly unemployed.

There is a vast difference between free speech and cheap talk. Whoopie needs to learn where the line is before she crosses it in the name of someone else.

13. If he won't stand behind Whoopi, what the hell makes you think
he's gonna stand behind you? You see, that's the thing about flip-flopping, spinless, principle-free Politicians - you can't really trust them or count on them for anything.

14. All good reasons to vote for Kerry
to get rid of that flip-flopping, spinless, principle-free George W. Bush.
