Whoopie, imho, shouldn't be one he takes on. I'd much rather he slug it out over issues such as national health care, publicly recognizing the science behind and joining in the efforts to stop global warming, and re-building our * decimated international relations. But, I also smell a Repuke rat with all this shoving into our collective face the non-(real)issues of Hillary speaking at the Dem convention and Whoopie's dilemma. The Pukes only hope at this point is dividing Dems. They're desperately grabbing at any tiny straw they can find to do just that. I certainly hope we are not stupid, crazy, or fanatical enough to fall for such ploys.

1. I agree. Kerry's got it under control. Whopee's a comedienne.
She makes crude jokes. That's who she is. She also ribbed Edwards. Kerry said well, she's a comedienne, blah, blah, blah. That's all he needs to say.

This is petty stuff for the GOP to be jumping on, and they know it. They would love for Kerry to get all involved in a "people have the right to bash the President" issue. Hopefully Kerry won't go there. Looks like he isn't. There are bigger fish to fry.

2. Yes, this is simply GOP dirty tricksterism at a pathetically lame level.
Karl Rove must be desperate to reach so. Time to just ignore the fools and move on.

3. Definitely ignore it.
In cases where a response is called for, as when Bush's cronies lie about the record, then one of Kerry's lieutenants should do the job.

Edwards is ideal for hatchet duty, because he can be critical and still remain likable.

Kerry has gravitas and looks idiotic when he tries to say "oh, it's on." He should play his strong suit, dignity, which 1) is his milieu and 2) wouldn't suck from a president for a change.

4. "gravitas"
I could dig it. Definitely preferable to the doltish, dumb, and semi-illiterate, yet glaringly arrogant status quo of our unelected current pResident.

5. I hope he changes his mind on national healthcare per his
recent TV ad. The ad says health care for NEARLY all americans......I wonder who gets left out? (assuming he can even get ANYTHING passed with a conservative congress) x(

6. He probably means those with vast wealth won't be entitled to it.
Just like they won't be entitled to boon doggle tax breaks, while we meer humans are forced to eat cake.

7. Maybe you should read Kerry's healthcare plan.

While Kerry's ultimate goal is healthcare for all americans, his plan is just the first step, which recognizes the political reality in congress and tries to move in that direction, but it is a realizable preliminary step.
