Morrison: DeLay Having a Bad Week!
http://takingontomdelay.com/
Tom DeLay thinks he is the most powerful man in America, and doesn't hesitate to let everyone know. In May 2003, the Washington Post reported that DeLay was asked not to smoke a cigar in a federal building (which is against the law). Before storming out, he told everyone,"I AM the federal government."
Here are the latest headlines exposing Tom DeLay's arrogance and abuse of his position. You can help remove this power-monger from office by contributing to Richard Morrison's campaign."

http://www.richardmorrisonfordistrict22.com/

SNIP..."It started on Monday with a Washington Post front page story that reported on internal Enron emails saying that DeLay was "pressing for an additional $100,000 for the Texas Redistricting effort." DeLay requested "a combination of corporate and personal money from Enron's executives."
SNIP..."There's one real big problem with that:

Texas law bars corporate financing of state legislature campaigns, and a Texas criminal prosecutor is in the 20th month of digging through records of the fundraising, looking at possible violations of at least three statutes.

Follow up reporting by the Houston Chronicle showed that DeLay was still taking Enron money even AFTER the company was under investigation.

And to top it all off, activist groups are calling for an outside counsel to take over the US House Ethics Committee investigation of DeLay because 4 out of 5 GOP committee members have taken money from his PACs.

2. Getting rid of DeLay will be almost as good
as getting rid of the current regime. We really need to find dirt on Senator Frist - wasn't his company cited for medicare fraud or something? We need to send a strong message to the RW enablers that we are coming after them - if they are crooks - they best quit now!

3. Wont do any good

The Repugs breed them in dark, dank, fetid cellars.

There's always another one to replace them.

4. The bug man is having a bad year
A majority of his district is open to having a new rep, he is being investigated in both DC and Austin and he actually has a strong opponent in Richard Morrison.

Let's all give a couple bucks to stump the bug man.
