Pledge your vote website - should we DU?
Edited on Fri Jul-16-04 09:56 AM by rmpalmer
Anyone know about this website? Who runs it?

Kerry is trailing badly on this site but has been closing on *. I'm going to pledge my vote to Kerry.

Should we DU this poll and see what happens?

http://congress.org/congressorg/home/ and click on the pledge your vote. They send you an email back with link to vote.

Looks like an interesting site but I don't know if it has much validity.

1. Futile effort in my opinion
That site was very pro-Kerry from the beginning. Then one Saturday about 10,000 votes very added to Bush, making the map go all Bush except for MA and DC. Since then the gap has narrowed somewhat toward less Bush and more Kerry.

If we try to drum up support to shift it back toward Kerry, then what's to stop another 10,000 Bush votes from being pumped in? The management there obviously knows about it and may be complicit. So why bother?
