But every candidate has hundreds and hundreds of endorsers. But only one pastor.
I know you'd like to believe that Obama's relationship to Wright is the same as McCain's to Hagee, but it's just not the case. But don't worry - Wright seems to have quieted down.

2. Might as well own it because after the convention it will still be... |
|
Obama comes to the convention having survived his association with *(^&*%* &*%*& pastor Rev Wright.

4. That's because Obama is such a great candidate |
|
They (hillary and her repuke allies) can't attack the man. All they can do is attack others and try and tie those people to Obama.

10. Yeah, i'd have to give them some respect, too. Didn't hear it |

with my own ears, but I've never seen Mark Halperin of The Page quoting inaccurately.

15. I heard him say it - at the top of an interview with Obama |
|
he said, "I'm not going to ask you any questions about Rev. Wright. We've declared this a Wright-free zone. Our viewers want us to move on."
In my world, when we decide not to talk about something, we just don't talk about it. But I guess I can put up with CNN announcing they're not going to talk about Wright if they really then don't talk about it. But I hope they don't spend the next weeks bragging that they're not talking about it (as they brag about "the best political team on television" - something that, if it were true, would not need to be announced every 8 minutes since everyone would already know it).

19. thanks for this -- good to hear confirmation from someone who |
|
actually saw the statement.
And I so much agree with you about that "best political team on television" brag -- it's getting to the point that even the CNN folks can't say it with a straight face!

him as "He who shall not be named." Just cause I don't want to hear his name again! And I really like him!!

17. True. The telling part to me is when I ask people what Wright said |
|
that they found so offensive, NOT ONE can recall anything.
They ALL say, it was the general feeling of his remarks.
Conclusion: the facts don't matter. The media spin is the impression left.
Tragic.
