Hey, Okies! Is Don Nickles' Senate seat in play?
I know the primaries haven't happened yet, but DC Political Report has Brad Carson (presumptive Dem nominee) ahead of two Republican contenders (OKC Mayor Kirk Humphreys and Commissioner Bob Anthony) and essentially tied with a third (ex-Congressman Tom Coburn).

Recent polling shows Coburn with a slight lead over Humphreys to win the GOP nomination, even though Humphreys received an endorsement from Inhofe (ha ha ha).

So tell me, what's up Okies?
Good heavens... COULD WE PICK UP A SENATE SEAT IN OKLAHOMA?!?! :bounce:

1. I hear it could be
I want Carson to win but have no illusions he will be a conservative democrat in the senate given the state he is representing.

2. 3-way republican fight
Anthony - a state commissioner

Humphreys - OKC mayor or former mayor, the one Inhofe etc backed

Coburn - held Carson's present seat in the House for 3 terms......was 'called' to run in order to represent true OK Biblical christian values

.....Coburn is getting very favorable play on RW talk radio

3. I want Humphreys because the polls indicate he would be easier to beat.
