They just collected $99 million dollars and they will have to spend it by July 29?

I understand about not being able to raise money after July 29 but not being able to spend the money you've laready raised seems weird. Is that really true?

had 37 million cash on hand. Does he have to spend it all by the end of the convention? Can he donate it to the DNC?

is July 29 a cut off for everybody or is it because of the Convention ending? If so, does that mean * can fund raise until September?

16. Yes, Bush can raise money until Septebmer 2 for Bush-Cheney.

In 2000, Al Gore had slightly longer to raise money than George W. Bush, since the Democratic Convention followed the Republican Convention.

But firstly, Gore was following matching funds limits, and Bush wasn't (in 2004 neither Bush nor Kerry are following matching fund limits for the primary season.)

Also, the Democratic Convention wasn't as late in 2000 as the Republican Convention is in 2004.

But you could also volunteer at your local office of Kerry-Edwards or for a local Congressperson if you've donated all you can afford.
