The war on drugs is a waste of tax payer money and I, for one, am sick of creating jobs in nowhereville by incarcerating people for victimless crimes. The war on drugs, as both conservatives and liberals know, is simply a fear-mongering political trick.

Spend money to help those who have substance abuse problems, whether alcohol or some currently illegal substance (mj is not physically addictive, fwiw - ANYTHING can be psychologically addictive).

Legalize hemp and create an entire new sector of the economy for those KY farmers and plastics industries and for use as biomass.. much, much better than ethanol. leave the corn for people.
