An immensely reasonable and fair message and proposition for Clinton supporters. |
|
Tomorrow is the last of the big primaries. Nearly 200 delegates are at stake between North Carolina and Indiana.
To have any hope of catching Obama in pledged delegates, Clinton needs to win both in the high 60's%.
But let's put that aside.
What we need to see from Clinton is any sign of progress at all. So I now tell you this:
Tomorrow, Clinton needs to obtain a net gain of pledged delegates between North Carolina and Indiana. If she does not- if Obama further increases his lead- there will be no question whatsoever that she should bow out gracefully.
This race must end at some point. If Clinton, in the biggest primary we have left- the rest have relatively few delegates at stake, nothing significant enough to change the race- can not even cut into Obama's lead, at all, this is an exercise in pure futility and she must, must, must drop out.
No more.

2. If she can't even cut into his lead, that is what Obama will hit her with. |

And it is freaking undeniable. She if loses ground tomorrow in pledged delegates, everyone- the media, Dems- is going to come crashing down on her with full force.

There have been a few times when it was obvious that if she didn't do well, it was o.v.e.r. Yet she lives.
