Reverse diebold tinfoil theory....
Perhaps someone has already thought of this, but I had a horrible thought today.

Suppose Kerry wins in November and Diebold hasn't already guaranteed victory to chimpy. Then suppose chimpy and F.U. claim falsely that Kerry or a supporter has hacked into the voting machines and created a false Kerry victory. They or diebold may have even planted evidence of this. This sort of issue could land in the Supreme Court, which would of course re-select chimpy. What then?

I guess this is a reverse vote-fixing theory which minimizes Rove's chances of being caught red-handed fixing the election.

I know its crazy, but we should think of every possibility that they could come up with to steal yet another election.

1. I think there would still be an outcry.
One Supreme Court election is sketchy enough. I don't even think the general public would be able to believe that TWO were needed.

3. That could start a U.S. civil war...
...or at least a HUGE popular uprising that would make the Vietnam War protests of the 60s and 70s look like that gathering of peace activists eating chocolate-chip cookies in Michael Moore's movie. What's the record for demonstrations in D.C.? About one million, I think. I predict your scenario would bring TEN million American protesters or perhaps FIFTEEN million -- FIVE PERCENT of the people in this whole country -- to D.C. to surround the White House and let the usurpers know that WE, THE PEOPLE, WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS. I'm serious, the Bushies have to know that they could not get away with that. I hope they know it.

4. Well the printout of each votes cast would solve that one wouldn't it?
