Any Democrat unable to gain the Black vote is unelectable.
That would be Hillary Clinton.

"there are some whites who are probably not ready to vote for an African-American candidate"

"Jesse Jackson ran a good campaign. And Obama ran a good campaign here."

"He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.”

"there's a difference between denouncing and rejecting."

denouncing and rejecting This guy

Ed Rendel Endorses Louis Farrakhan, same guy Hillary wanted Obama to denounce and renounce

7. Imagine that when there is no Hillary in the race, millions of women
Voting for Obama.

Or else they will have chosen a Scalias/Thomas Supreme Court replacement themselves....cutting off their nose to spite their face....and losing their right to choose for the worship of one woman. How Ironic!

Meanwhile, Black folks are so used to being at the bottom of the totem poll, we really don't give a fuck. We certainly aren't gonna kiss a race bater's ass, and we aren't gonna vote for one, either. You can take that to the bank.

Kinda of like when Reagan was called "The Great Equalizer". Black folks always said he was called that because under his administration, even White people knew what it was like not to have a job.

and everything to do with folks promoting racism for their own use.

That is something that I will never support; ever.

12. So you assume that all women who support Hillary are racist?
How about the 8 Black women I have had coffee with every morning for the last 7 years. They are Hillary supporters. Are the racist?

11. People who think women will vote for
Hi-LIE-ary only because she possesses ovaries must think very little of women. I am a woman and I WILL NOT vote for Hi-LIE-ary. Margaret Thatcher is a woman and I think she did nothing but ill for England. Hi-LIE-ary would do the same for the US She is a female George W Bush all the way to supporting the war and future wars.

I support people who I think might have a basic understanding of what it is like to live on a PAYCHECK and not investments. Barack Obama comes from a single parent family. Hi-LIE-ary comes from an upper middle class family. She of Wal-Mart board fame has not a CLUE on what it is to WORK for one's keep. I don't care how many trucks she is seen in it does not make her a working class hero when her whole adult life has been spent stomping on working class people via welfare reform, serving on Wal-Mart's board of directors, NAFTA, GATT WTO (all championed during her and her husband's presidency).

27. Any Dem who can't attract significant AA support isn't electable.
And you can't pass it off on Obama's race. AA voters didn't vote for Sharpton, Moseley-Braun and other black candidates at these levels.

his candidacy.

Typical, do anything, say anything, move on there's nothing to see here, duplicitous politician.

:puke:

Chuck Todd on Charlie Rose said that, even if Obama loses to McCain, the Democratic Party will have accomplished something.

:puke:

Never mind the fucking Supreme Court. Never mind any Democratic Party agenda. Repeal and restrict Roe. Expand the Patriot Act.

:puke:

The really, really IMPORTANT thing is that the Dems nominate a black guy -- even a loser.

20. The loser is Hillary Clinton.......
That's the position that she's in, not Barack Obama.

The Dems aren't nominating a "black" guy anymore than they are nominating a "female".

The Dems are nominating Barack OBama, who happens to be of mixed race ancestry.

Hillary would like to be nominated, and she's attempted to sells us on her experience as a Former President's wife.

That's really it in a nutshell.

What was their motive then? Divide the party? If so they have been successful.

25. Oh, that goofy rightwing media! No one could possibly match John McCain for unelectability.
Edited on Tue May-06-08 06:32 AM by Perry Logan
Unelectable? Let me count the ways...

John McCain is a multiple adulterer
John McCain has scandals galore
he hangs with a pastor who's REALLY crazy and who REALLY hates America
he has flipped on everything he ever said
he seems unaware he is running for President
he shows signs of senile dementia in everything he says
he has severe temper tantrums (one Republican says the thought of a McCain Presidency chills his blood. This is a Republican!)
he called his wife a c*nt (a barbarism which which NO male Democratic nominee could survive)
he obviously knows jackshit about foreign policy
he's sucking up to the religious loonies who brought us to this pass
he has already been horribly smeared by the Bush campaign in 2000 (hey--the guy is PRE-SMEARED!)
Republicans don't like him
the far right don't like him
the religious loonies don't like him
the anti-immigration nuts don't like him
the homophobes don't like him
people who oppose the war (most people) don't like him
he is as old as time--looks like he will die before Election Day

All this after six years of nonstop Republican-induced megacatastrophes, a massive swing to the left, unprecedented Democratic participation in primaries, record-breaking Democratic voter registrations, and the onset of massive problems that can only be solved by liberal and socialist policies.

Now THAT, my friends, is unelectable.
