I don't know his chances, but from the website they look pretty good. I love his ads, especially the first one. You can vote for the ads.

SNIP..."The fundraising numbers are in and WE ARE IN THE LEAD. We raised over $150,000 and we have almost $273,000 on hand to get our message to voters over the next few weeks. That's more money than anyone else in this race has to communicate with voters. We are in an unbelievable position heading into the election on August 3rd. We have more volunteers, a better message, and more money than all of our opponents."

1. Hey, madfloridian, thanks for the shoutout.
I have a thread in GD begging people to take a look at Jeff. Please help me kee it kicked today.

As you know, I am very actively involved in Jeff's campaign. The beautiful blond with the white shirt and blue and brown skirt in your pic is my wife (as you know).

Jeff is a great guy and he needs all of our support. We can win this race with a strong final push. Help spread the word far and wide.

4. You are welcome.....I will check it out. Pic of your wife.
I have noticed there is excitement about so many races this year. I see several Dean Dozen at grassroots level won or tied their primaries in NC and GA. If I remember correctly, your wife is behind Gov. Dean, who is not visible, just his hand in the air.

5. That is the lovely and beautiful Ms. Ya-Ya.
The cute little girl in the green shirt is my daughter and the little guy that you can barely see next to her is my son. You can see the top of my balding head over Govenor Dean.

2. As far as his chances, we are about to put this race away.

Jeff leads in fundraising, has the largest staff, and has the largest group of grassroots voulunteers. We have pulled even with the frontrunner. Our final push will put us over the top. I have never been this excited about a campaign. Jeff WILL make a positive difference in Congress and everyone will benefit from electing a progressive like Jeff. This is a solid Dem district. If we win the primary, we almost certainly win the general election.

6. Smith
I don't know anything about him, and he's not running in my district, but when I drive through Clayton, there are signs for him EVERYWHERE.

Kinda surprised me, as Clayton is such a rich area, I'd have thought there'd be more Repub support.

7. Over $5,000 in the first three hours today.
Howard Dean is such an incredible asset and the Deaniacs are the best supporters in the world.
