It's the misleading, stupid!

"The only lie I hear Bush being accused of telling is about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. If he told a lie it was also told by Clinton, Kerry, Edwards, Gore and Uncle Teddy."

http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=12418566&BRD=...

Above is the current "company line" being relentlessy fed by the pubs. They seem to be saying that if it's not an "offical" lie, if it's not committing perjury under oath, then it's fine by them.

If they heard that the Iraq war was the last resort, when the whole world knows it was the first resort, so what? It wasn't lying under oath. So what if that war was on a political time-schedule from day one. As was the turnover. Who cares? It wasn't lying under oath about oral sex, or something really bad like that.

All the so-called concern they say they have for getting it right, for Afghani women, it's all baloney of the highest magnitude. Even the world's illiterate are probably aware of this.

These reactionaries just use whatever is convenient at the moment to try and shut everyone up, so they can get back to their "hidden" and "quiet" right-wing agenda as soon as possible. You don't have to read John Dean's book to know this. They really care about nothing, except getting back on schedule as soon as possible, while they run on honor and dignity, and stuff.

It started with "compassionate conservatism." Unknown to many at the time was just how phoney that "winning" theme was. The good news, however, for people who oppose this administration, is how they aren't even trying such a slogan this time around.

The new one is he's the peace president, right? You can't make this stuff up.

2. If he is the peace president why is he not helping the people in Af.?
One thing is sure, just as I have seen pictures of poor people walking down roads with a few things they own and their children with them before some killing army for as long as I have seen news reels in my 70 years, you also will see the same thing. And few times will a rich country like ours be in the pictures helping. I wonder at times just what type world we think we have left when we leave millions on the edge of no food, educations and still having more and more children. Does anyone think guns will keep these people out of their country for ever?
