Clyburn: Bill said some things I know he regrets |
|
Clyburn said Bill Clinton called him after the South Carolina primary and RAGED at him for 50 minutes. He said Bill Clinton said some things he probably regrets now.
I would love to know what was said. What do you think.

1. I would rather not know but can only imagine. Bill Clinton has always been a user. He used Black |
|
people when he needed them, and is willing to toss them away when he doesn't or when someone calls him on his shit, like Clyburn has done several times.

14. What is so funny is that he even used Reverend Wright when he was calling his prayer meeting after |
|
fornicating with Lewinsky. If you remember, he called several black preachers to the White House to pray with him for sinning.
I find it interesting that when the Clinton's seen it was to their advantage, they through the old reverend out like used toilet paper.
I don't trust the Clinton's as far as I can spit. Have to give them credit though, they are good bull shiters and have almost half the Democratic Party buying into what they are.

2. Probably railed him for not helping secure more of the AA vote |
|
That would be a very uncomfortable conversation.

4. Yeah, they did have the AA leaders sewn up early |
|
They spent God only knows how much spreading bucks around SC. All for naught. I bet he was pissed off. Too bad.

7. If that is all he said, I don't know why Clyburn wouldn't just say it. |
|
I think he said some really outrageous stuff. Clyburn said he thinks Bill Clinton regrets what he said now.
Interesting.

I mean gosh, what exactly can he say for 50 whole minutes? And why in the hell did Clyburn stay on the phone to listen to it? And at 3 am? Crazy stuff.
I am dying to know what he said.
Wouldn't it be WILD if Clyburn had it on tape?

10. If he's like my ex... it's variations on a theme. |
|
The same things over and over, said dozens of different ways.
Maddening stuff.
If it's on tape, it's probably being used as a bargaining chip.

Clinton would have every right to destroy him. I like Clyburn, he has a grandfatherly air to him, but, if he crossed Clinton like that, he would have no right to cry when Clinton found a way to take him down.
That's just the nature of politics, and Clyburn is an old pro. He'll never break the confidence of that call because he knows what will happen if he does. And this is something that all successful politicians do......there is a reason that honorable, princpaled people usually don't go that far in the business, because it is all about playing the dozens and doing what you can to win at whatever cost.

13. Why would Clinton have a "right" to destroy Clyburn |
|
for that? People need to protect themselves. Clinton should probably be more careful of who he calls at 3 in the morning raging on and on about crazy crap. But that's just my opinion.

Something that is common to Southern culture that is held by both races.
Clinton made that call out of a confidence and a repore he believed he had with Clyburn. If Clyburn breaks that honor and trust, Clinton has every right to defend his honor, which in this case would be some form of retaliation against Clyburn.
There is a reason that almost all of the nation's most corrupt states are located in the Deep South, it's a function of a culture in which honor and duty remain a paramount core value.
