according was the point it seemed that lady was trying to make. Extremely sad.

32. That is more descriptive of you. You can't even appreciate someone who both got scolarships and
worked their way through school. Hillary's Dad didn't believe in educating girls. he thought it was a waste, and now stupid people denigrate Hillary's efforts. She desertves her success.

such a big deal, but that's who was running against him. He could have possibly beaten a stronger candidate as well.
And don't you think beating Hillary Clinton was quite an accomplishment?

44. Society decided to call Obama Black;
Obviously there is a very tenuous relationship between race and genetics. You will be characterized as hispanic and not black if you are from Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic with almost all African ancestry. You can be 10% or %20 African but having been in America be considered Black. Why? Because those who had the power to decide decided it would be that way. Lets get real if Obama or someone who looked just like him was coming down the street and someone asked you who was coming down he street you would say that black guy. Obama identifies as black only because the world has related to him as a black man. Its really not that complicated.

is an "African American" ? Barack is the son of a BLACK African man- and a white American woman. He has rightful claim on both aspects of his heritage.

DNA is part of your essence. Social class is different.

43. I did not know a person could say white that
many times in one sentence. Couple that with Begalla on CNN saying my party is not the party of Eggheads and African Americans, leads me to believe that the Clintons and her camp are appealing to naked racism at this point. The make-up is coming off the ape.

Credit where credit is due, that aside...

I don't much give a fuck about her so-called "blue-collar upbringing", what I'm saying is that it is the height of ridiculousness for her to attempt to portray herself as anything but the ultra-wealthy member of the upper echelon of society that she so obviously is.

"What is it about hard work and success you hate?"

Not a damn thing. In fact, Obama's hard work and resultant success have rather endeared him to me.

19. Well, it's sort of true...
if by "working class American" he means born in a wealthy Chicago suburb, have a vacation home in PA, attend an elite private college, then attend an Ivy League law school, go to work in DC for Nixon impeachment hearings, become first lady of Arkansas, use connections to get hired by top law firm, join WalMart Board of Directors, become first lady, use connections to buy Senate seat. Yeah, I guess most working class Americans are just like that.

38. Not in a working class factory job
1965: President - Wellesley Young Republicans
1968: President - Wellesley College Government Association
Summer 1968 - Wellesley in Washington summer program, intern at House Republican Conference (attended Republican National convention in Miami)

Yale Law school
Member, editorial board of the Yale Review of Law
Worked at the Yale Child Study Center
Summer 1970, awarded a grant to work at the Washington Research Project
Summer 1971 intern at law firm of Treuhaft, Walker and Burnstein
Summer 1972 campaigned for McGovern
Graduated 1973

An impressive record of achievement, but about as far from "working class" as you can get.

PS: At today's tuition rates, Clinton's Wellesley/Yale education would cost $375,000.
