Can you imagine how many new young voters would register in an Obama v McCain general election? |
Young people have greatly increased their turnout this primary season compared to primaries past.
I can't imagine young people sitting on the sidelines this fall when it's Obama vs. McCain. The Clintons should know this--look at how the Rock the Vote crowd helped him when he was the breath of fresh air challenging Bush.
The 18-30 year old turnout has been improved this primary season. Those are the primaries, though. This is painfully absent from the discussion about the hypothetical demographics of the general election. Watch and see how many college kids, and young adults register and come out to vote Obama. McCain is tapped out--he's already at his ceiling.
