Are Repugs purging Ohio votes? |
|
I think I heard something on Thom Hartman. They're trying to purge voters in a heavily black area. Will Ohio be this year's Florida?
Why don't we hear more about this stuff?

If it is based upon felony conviction then they are breaking the law. In Ohio, a felony conviction does not void voting rights. You can be a registered voter who gets out if prison on election day and may cast a vote. You can even be in jail, awaiting trial and vote as one has not yet been convicted. You may not vote if you are serving time for a crime with a conviction.
