' Send John Kerry ' What a perfect chant in reply to . . . |
|
Bill Clinton provided the perfect chant for audience participation - I'm wondering how to phrase questions so we can scream, 'SEND JOHN KERRY !' It's a simple phrase for bumperstickers and pins as well.
When America needs leadership, what should we do? When the terrorists make threats, what should we do? When you need a good job what should you do?
Others? (it reminds me of the Ghostbuster's theme, "Who you gonna call?" - I can hear the music!)

Clinton was using specific and effective language.
Clinton didn't say "Vote John Kerry." That sounds like Kerry needs our vote, that the Dems need this win. No no no.
"Send John Kerry" carries the message that there is a job that needs to be done, and it is America that needs John Kerry.
That's a powerful message, masterfully delivered.

it first being used during the democratic unity thing a few weeks or so after Kerry had got the nomination.
Not that I have a problem with Clinton using it again. It was extremely well delivered.

Were saying how great Clinton did of speaking like a everyday person. No big words and laid all these policies out so that everyone could understand their choice. GREAT SPEECH!!
