Gotta hand it to Bush/Cheney. Their chutzpah, using troops they've abused |
|
for campaign backdrops!
It is dishonorable, and decidedly, shameless.

1. I'm not handing them anything except a one-way ticket out of Washington |
|
And it isn't chutzpah, it's unmitigated gall
(And I mean no offense to you :hi:)

2. I would say that it is amazing that the troops don't get ticked off about |

that, but I've recently met a number of people in the military, some of them pretty young kids, some of them much older, and all of them have seen through Mr. Bush and his hypocrisy. And his foreign bungling. And his misuse of our young people in uniform. Pretty amazing, I'd say. Howard Stern had something to do with it, but many of them saw what was going on with their own eyes and are smart enough to connect the dots. I don't think the military vote is a lock for Bush this year.

It is an ironic word choice to use the Yiddish "chutzpah" to describe the Bush/Cheney propaganda technique - the big lie - most effectively utilized by Joseph Goebbels.
