Audio trickery by ABC????? |
|
I saw part of the Clinton's speech on PBS than I switched over to ABC digital. I noticeed that the applause on ABC sounded like it had a LOT more bass. It had SO MUCH BASE in fact that the applause sounded like booing at time.
Did anyone else notice this. Should we expect this type of BS, from the Saudi supported Michael Eisner and the Disney media empire????

1. Probably have better microphones than PBS - did you adjust your subwoofer? |

2. ABC looked like they were tweaking the picture as well, |

so it wouldn't surprise me if they pumped up the audio. I don't currently have my TV hooked up to a better audio system, though, so I didn't notice the bass difference. Compared to C-SPAN and many of the other channels carrying the speech, I thought the video on ABC had slightly more saturated color and was more sharp than the other channels. The worst looking presentation award goes to the regional New England Cable News (NECN) channel, which looked like 1970s video (but to be fair, this channel always looks horrid.)
