I have never been more proud to be an Illinoisan than I was tonight! |
|
We have seen the future of our party, both here in Illinois and nationally! Obama will be the first non-Caucasian POTUS; I would bet my life savings on it.
See why we're soooooooooo excited now, y'all?

4. You are so freaking lucky to have people of that caliber |

to represent you. He was truly magniicent. I rewatching it now on CSPAN and my initial response is even stronger. This man is the face of the future. I'm proud to have seen him tonight, as his career begins.

What can I say? I was in tears. This man is incredible. Good grief! He is the future of the party. What an inspiration. I loved what he said about us being the United States of America.
You should be proud. I just moved to Oregon from Texas. Back home, we had John "Box Turtle Fetish" Cornyn and Kay Bailey Asswipe. Nothing to be proud of. I believe I'll donate to Obama and follow this young man closely.
Did you see Hillary after his speech? The SO and I were both teary-eyed; he pointed out how she was beaming and said yep, she's found her VP! Kerry should keep this man close as well. He's got "winner" written all over him.

Despit ehis folk hero status, Obama would've mopped the floor with him. Might have even put a kabosh on the whole amateur-hour trend of celebrity candidates.
