Is ANYONE counting the # of repub talking heads? |
|
I really want to know how many republican/right talking heads they are having doing commentary for the DNC convention and compare it to how many dems/libs they have during the RNC convention. I'm honestly dying to know and have someone do a comparison. Unfortunately I refuse to turn on any of those channels. In fact I just chastized my wife for having CNN on rather than C-Span.

|
I was at my sisters Monday and she kept watching the CNN and fox and msnbc (as my car was broke down) I had to stay but yesterday I called my dad and asked him to come and get me as she was making me watch fox. he came right away. lol! on cspan you get to watch the whole thing and not have tweety cut off the best of the best way to early as my sister said he did while she was watching Al with tears in her eyes.

C-SPAN is the only channel to watch if you want to see the entire, unexpurgated, un-smeared Convention.
FUCK CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, FOX, MSNBC AND CNBC!!!
And shame on PBS for not covering it all!

9. I had my TV on C-Span and media player on C-Span 2.. |
|
I saw Dukakis and Edwards speaking at the same time, before that it was both Ferraro and Granholm.
Interesting how speeches barely change over 20 years, but now I badly need some Aspirin! :hangover:

5. I noticed the same thing. SCARBOROUGH and DOLE commentating |

on the DNC Convention? Give me a break. It crossed my mind that they will have NO obviously Democratic partisan pundits and politicians commenting on the RNC Convention. We shall see.

6. Hopefully MediaMatters.org and others will get all the statistics |
|
And compare them and expose the right wing media's bias.
One thing you could do is to make screen captures or save pages showing the way that online news sites like Fox and CNN cover the DNC convention and then go to those same sites during the RNC and compare the coverage of that event.

7. FOX News is the worst... |
|
No surprise there, of course. They've got four conservatives and one who, I guess, is supposed to represent the liberals, Mara Liason. I guess because she works for NPR, all the Fox viewers will think she's some sort of leftist.
At least Bill Kristol can be somewhat complimentary towards the speakers. Fred Barnes on the other hand has a little hissy fit every time a speech ends, spouting off all the things he didn't like about it.

8. If I had watched MSNBC instead of C-span |

I would have missed Cate Edwards introduce her mother. She is certainly a beautiful, intelligent and poised young woman. Quite a contrast to the twins.
edited for punctuation.
