PATRIOT ACT. I'm so proud of my Senator for that, as are many others in Wisconsin-he'll be reelected in November.

Senator Russ Feingold has always worked for campaign reform.

Senator Russ Feingold wasn't a speaker at DNC.

Senator Russ Feingold is the only Senator to have voted against the PATRIOT ACT, which has to go imo.

He also doesn't take the raise that the senate gives themselves until he gets re-elected. He says that he doesn't deserve a raise if he isn't doing a good job, and he doesn't know how good a job he's doing until election year. I met him in River Falls when he came to speak at our campus and he's a cool down-to-earth guy. I say Feingold for prez in 2012!!

I agree, I can't tell you all how much I love that Feingold is our Senator. I honestly can't see him being unseated in the near future. However, I don't think he'll get the Presidential nod...I think the DNC will push for some more like Clinton or Obama.

But yeah, Feingold doesn't take the raises he's given, just donates them back into the Treasury.

What I would like to see is for someone to run against Congressman Paul Ryan. That little puke irritates me constantly. If no one else can, I plan on running against him once I'm of age.
