How Bush will compete with Kerry's ex-crew mates praise of him
This is how the mind of GW Bush might work. At the Democratic convention members of John Kerry's PT crew have spoken of his heroism and dedication. The chimp will decide two can play this game. So he decides to ask one of his ex-Texas National Guard cohorts to speak at the GOP convention--who better than James Bath? after all, he and the chimp were both suspended together in 1972?

Perhaps he could share some stories of how he and the chimp used to get falling down drunk together?

1. Maybe they can recount the tale
of how they both skipped the mandatory physical together. Such heroism! Such bravery! (swoon!)

2. by putting the anti-Kerry people
all those hired for profit motives to spew garbage. They'll say anything like he threw away his medals and expect that phony Jane Fonda picture which was floated as a trial baloon earlier to resurface.Let's face it they are desperate.

And they could be joined by the ladies of Alabama, who called him the Texas souffle (pretty on the outside, all hot air on the inside).

5. They already have the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth
or whatever they are called.

They were on NPR yesterday afternoon or the day before, talking down his service. They said he exagerrated his wounds and actions to get his medals, both for the medals and the shortened time in country.

And then they go on about his congressional testimony as a betrayal of the soldies still in country.

The real question is: they're going to trot this stuff out now, who's going to go after Bush tooth-and-nail on camera during the convention for his NG "service"?

7. Funny, innit?
Kerry has all these people who unquestionably served with him coming forward to talk about what a great job he did.

And poor Dubya can't find a single former comrade-in-arms to praise his "service" to the nation.

You'd think that would tell the right-wing mad dogs something, but, you'd be wrong.

8. I Heard They Will Be Having At The Puke Convention
One of Bush's frat buddies at Yale had too much drink and was choking on his own vomit and Bush saved his life by giving him mouth to mouth resuscitation...

10. Was it mouth to mouth?
Or was he just trying to ensure that no alcohol got wasted?
