Is Bush still talking about "fiscal discipline?"
Since he said this a couple of weeks ago in Wisconsin:

http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/040714/dcw043_1.html

We're going to continue to bring fiscal discipline to Washington, D.C. See, it starts with understanding that we're not spending the government's money, we're spending your money. And we must be good stewards with your money in the Nation's Capital. (Applause.)

I haven't heard him utter that theme since then.

I wonder, did his fiscal discipline crusade go the way of his Mars mission?

1. I can't believe he would say that
at all.

"Continue"? He has never brought any fiscal discipline since he's been in office! It amazes me that people don't laugh in his F***ing face when he says shit like that.

What drugs does he give his supporters anyway? Their minds are in neutral!

3. where the transcript says "applause"
I think it was a euphemism for scornful laughter. How could anyone applaud him for that absurd claim?

2. He's not spending our money anymore, he's spending our children's.
The Orwellian newspeak of the publicans is overwhelming.
