Even someone I know, who is known for cracking insensitive jokes-

Was appalled by the Quote of HRC with the "hard working Americans, white Americans" being circulated.

(Let me describe this fellow for a second. Smokes cheap stinky cigars, talks about the red white and blue, cracks racial and gender jokes - but immediately follows with hick jokes about himself. He's a "Nothing is safe from humor" guy. Good heart, but never knows when to quit. He's Republican, but can't stand McCain because of the 100 years comment and the "What global warming?" attitude. His words not mine. He's college educated, as well as being white.)

His comment? "I'm damn glad that I threw my lot in with Obama and went unaffiliated- Clinton makes the Titanic look like a pleasure cruise straight from heaven!" Followed by "It's one thing to joke when everyone else is smiling, but that was no joke and I don't see anyone laughing."

:wow: Went unaffiliated? This guy was a DIE HARD Republican! When hubby and I switched our views a few years back we tried talking to him and he wouldn't BUDGE!

No real point to this I guess except to share a WHOA moment. :)

We are living in history here folks!
