Connecting dots: Cindy's tax returns/Arizona land swap
Edited on Fri May-09-08 09:23 AM by madaboutharry
Bear with me on this:

As some of you know, I lived for many years in Arizona. One morning, maybe 7 or so years ago, I was standing in my backyard talking to a landscaper. We got into a discussion about politics and McCain and soon discovered we shared the same political views. This landscaper told me about this "land swap" that this "corrupt PPS McCain was involved in." I was told that there was this land swap involving federal land that was slotted for development and that "lots of people made lots of money." The implication was that the deal was very shady and that McCain benefited personally.

Over the years, from time to time, I would google and search the internet for information about it and never found anything. I always wondered if it was a rumor or if it was the truth. I brought it up a few times to this landscaper over the years and was always told the same information.

Now, it is percolating in the news.

This my thought as to why the McCains don't want Cindy's tax returns released: Cindy McCain's trust is deeply into real estate and land development. She owns vast amounts of real estate in Arizona.
I am curious to know what the real relationship the McCains have with this land swap, where land in the vicinity at the time of the swap was selling for $2000 an acre and where McCain's friend, excuse me "constituent," sold it for as much as $120,000 per acre.
