Pics from my Obama town hall meeting later this afternoon.

As you may know, I finagled a ticket to a town meeting with Obama later on today.

I'm going to be away from DU for a few days, so I'm going to go ahead and post the pictures I'm going to take now ahead of time.

The meeting itself was in the small, economically depressed town of Albany, Oregon. Population: 7.5 million.



We haven't got a lot of black people in Oregon. Mostly we're eggheads.



There was a pretty long line of people waiting to get in.



We saw Mark Penn on the way there.



There was a festive atmosphere once we got inside.

Obama's been criticized because all of his victory speeches were short on specifics. Actually, in the smaller more intimate town hall meetings, his answers on issues are really quite specific and detailed. Owing to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, Obama himself becomes vague.
