Mr. Super Endorses Barack Obama

from Demconwatch

He kept it a really good secret but today Ed Espinoza (aka Mr. Super) endorsed Barack Obama. We tried many times to pry the information out of him but not even kryptonite would make him tell.

Only a day after revealing his true identity Espinoza become Barack Obama's 264th superdelegate vote by our count.

Obama is now 5.5 superdelegates vote behind Clinton.

4. 'Democrats Abroad' Superdelegates are worth 1/2 vote at the convention
They want to get more countries involved so they doubled the superdelegates with have the votes for each.

6. He has a blog explaining the role of super delegates in the primary selection
at www.mrsuper.org

Lot's of info on how the process works and what super D's were thinking. Up until yesterday he had remained anonymous.

7. I've only seen ABC show Obama ahead
DemConWatch shows the results according to The Green Papers, AP, CNN, NBC, and CBS. None of these sources show Obama ahead yet.

Many trust DemConWatch's super delegate total the most because they have official announcement links to all the SD's they list. They don't add a SD on the basis of unofficial rumors -- eg, Jimmy Carter is still in the undeclared list altho everyone knows unofficially who he's for.
