Here are a few goodies from the daily "Pray for President Bush" thread over at FR: O Father our King, how glad we are to come before Thee this night with our worship and our praise! You are the One True God, the Living God, the Creator and Sustainer of All Things, both visible and invisible; every life is in Your Hands, and the very next breath we take is by Your Grace! O God our Savior, we are not worthy, in and of ourselves, to come into Your Holy Presence, but we are trusting that the Death of Christ upon the cross has paid the penalty for our sin and set us free from all condemnation, to go forth in Newness of Life, clothed before Thy Holiness in the Pure, White Robes of the Righteousness of Christ. We thank You, our Gracious God and Savior, for accomplishing our Redemption upon the cross of Calvary; You died, and were burried, instead of us, and You arose from the grave, and placed us in You, so now when our Father sees us, He sees You; we are SAFE in You, our Most Merciful King!
Our Precious One, our hearts are heavy within us, and our spirits are burdened by what we see coming from our President's enemies this week; O God and King of Truth, the lies Your servant's foes have vomited forth are a mind-boggling, mind-numbing multitude; a wide, vast, deep, sky-high pile of filthy dung; They hope to bury our brother beneath this avalanche of brainwashing, reeking LIES! Confound them! Thwart them! O LORD our GOD of Justice and Might! Let the pile begin crumbling from the top; let Thine enemies look on in horror, and bewilderment, as their carefully constructed Tower of Filth descends upon their own cowardly heads, Your Servant lovingly lifted of Thy Blessed Spirit above the madness below, protected beneath Thy Sheltering Wings of Grace, to behold the Divine Justice of our God being visited upon his would-be destroyers! Please accomplish this, Great God! Please vindicate Thy beloved child before the eyes of many, and grant unto him a Glorious Victory in the presence of his tormentors, as they wail, and lament, cowering before the Power, Majesty, and Glory of our Great and Awesome SOVEREIGN GOD!
Remembering Thy Mercies, our Loving Father God, we plead also this night for Thy Salvation to be granted to many that currently hate Thee; save them, our King! Pluck some away, as Thy Judgement begins to fall, and bring wonder, astonishment, and adoration to their formerly dead hearts, their hatred vaporized, as they look upon the God of Sovereign Grace! We thank Thee for all You will do, Holy Master! And we offer our Eternal Praise to Thee, Your Majesty! Our King and our God, we exalt You, through Christ! It is in His Holy Name, we worship You, and pray, amen.

Our Heavenly Father,
As we come to the end of another busy work week, may we not take our eyes off the prize---the gift of salvation and eternal life in heaven with You. Thank You, Father, for all the times You make us aware of Your presence---in the darkness of the storm as well as in the simple fluttering of a butterfly’s wings. You are our Creator and we are blessed to belong to You.
Father, we are in the midst of a great spiritual war. We pray for those members of the Senate, the House, and the Supreme Court whom satan has drawn to the side of darkness. We ask that You would send forth messengers of the Holy Spirit to bring light to their darkness and that You would replace the devil’s lies with the truth. Deliver President Bush from any of their agendas that would lead this nation further from You. Father, thwart the plans of those who seek to destroy this man who has been appointed to lead our nation. He is a faithful man, and we are confident that You will richly bless him. He is Your child and he is seeking to do Your will. Enlighten him and direct him in the path he should go. Grant him a strong connection with the American people as he campaigns across the nation. Help him to communicate strength, resolve, and decisiveness. Enable him to redirect the campaign debate so that the real issues are addressed. Lead him to seek Your will in all things, whether they be matters of state or matters of the heart. Protect him from harm and danger, and revitalize him physically during the long days of travel...

There is power here today in the prayers of Your Beloved children, as we gather together before You to lift Your Name on High, and to worship our Mighty One, our Holy One, our King of Creation, Life and Glory! We praise You, our Awesome and Eternally Blessed God! We adore You, we exalt You, and we bow our heads before the Glory of Your Majesty, our Magnificent King Jesus! You are our Savior, the Only True God, full of Grace, Mercy, and Truth, Resplendent in Your Glory, Eternally Clothed with Nobility, Royalty and Honor, our KING Who sits upon the Throne of Creation and All Eternity! Glory to You, our Mighty Savior! We worship You, O Great God Jehovah, Almighty God of Israel, and Father of our Great King Jesus Christ! Thank You for bringing us into Your Holy Presence through the shed blood of the Lamb slain for us; O You Who Loved us, and washed us from our sins in Your own Holy Blood, we lift up You Name! We praise that Great Name, the Name of JESUS CHRIST!
As we worship You, our Sovereign LORD GOD, we bring before You Your devoted servant, Your child through Grace, George Bush, our dear President. O God, our Great King! Many have been the trials and tribulations of our beloved commander-in-chief, but You have delivered him out of them all, just as Your Holy Word promises You will do for Your Children of Grace! How we thank You, O Christ our Deliverer! You have lifted him up, again and again; You have dashed the Wicked Hopes of his enemies, with a laugh! They cannot overthrow him, O God our Mighty One! He is Invincible in Your Grace, full of the Strength of his God, and he will go forth in the Power of the Almighty, as his foes fall before him, to the left and to the right! Glory to You, O Great God Jehovah! Glory to You, our King Jesus Christ! You have preserved Thy loved servant, driving back the Wolves of Slaughter; You have granted him an honor, before the princes and the kings of the earth! You are AWESOME, Great LORD of All Glory! You are our God, through the Purchase of Grace! We exalt You, we lift our hands to You, Royal Master! We reverence Your Holy Name, and we pray and praise You in that Ever Blessed Name of our KING, Jesus Christ!
