Absentee Ballots people
If the reps are calling for their followers to get absentee ballots in Florida, then why not Dems? To ensure a verifiable election, all voters should vote absentee, it's easier, and verifiable, a paper trail, your ballot stub has a registration number, and the ballot can be found at the election clerk's office.Oregon is all vote by mail.

I read that Jeb is really pi**ed that this pamphlet was sent out! And the WH is pi**ed that they used shrub's picture on it!

3. Here in Iowa
Edited on Sat Jul-31-04 02:39 PM by petersjo
My husband is 67 and never registered to vote. A week or so ago, after watching something on the news, he said to me "We have to get rid of these crooks." I went to the phone book and tore out the voter reg form and filled it out for him to sign. We took it to the country auditor on Thursday. We also requested absentee ballots (we travel to AZ for winter, so won't be in Iowa on 11-2), and the clerk said they'd already had 500 requests for absentee ballots in our rural eastern Iowa county. West side of our county is liberal, right side is Repub. Demonstrates to me that 1) there is considerable interest in this election and 2) people want to make sure their vote gets counted. I'd like to see huge absentee voting in every state. That would make a strong statement about distrust of electronic voting.
