Bush has a "four year plan" for the economy |
|
how pathetic is this? http://abcnews.go.com/wire/Politics/ap20040731_625.html
"After four more years, the American economy will continue to be the strongest in the world," Bush said as his Democratic rival, John Kerry, campaigned in neighboring Pennsylvania.
Bush said factors beyond his control, such as the Sept. 11 attacks and corporate scandals, were to blame for the country's economic problems over the past four years. He also said the economy was weakening when he took office in January 2001.

1. That's a bit optimistic |
|
By my calculations, the economy will be dead and buried in another 27 months at the current rate.

2. I saw the part of his speech where he blames lawsuits for job losses |
|
He said he wants to stop lawsuits from being filed against companies because that's what causes job losses. And that isolationism is dangerous so he isn't going to be an isolationist. (So that means blame Edwards for all the job losses, and Kerry is too dangerous. Wooooo- those Dems sure are scary.)

3. He is emulating his dad's disconnect from reality. |
|
This is what cost his father the '92 election. He will stay disconnected though, since acknowledging reality would be too painful and difficult for him. His only ploy is to try to get enough people to share this disconnect to get him elected. It's hard to convince someone without a job that things are just peachy keen. In fact, it is nearly impossible.

7. sorta leaves the question hanging |
|
okay w... so three years (giving him the 911 factor) and things are not very good... why would they be better with four more years of the same?
funny thing w... you talk about keeping jobs.. then why do your folks tout globaloutsourcing as a benefit to those losing their jobs - with one senior person refering to the exported jobs as... a way to diminish the size of the TRADE DEFICIT.
funny thing w... if we put this together with your "results matter" slogan... because the result of the average family losing 9% of their income during YOUR WATCH... doesn't really speak well to the ability for you to deliver on these anemic promises.

Is also to elect John Kerry. Then blame W. for anything that goes wrong during his administration.
Bush's four-year plan. These people are crazy. He's had his four years, and spent most of it blaming Clinton. Bush's time is up. NEXT!
