The Haves and Have-Mores
"Some call you the elite....I call you my base."
Why, oh why don't the Dems use this clip in a commercial??!!!
You know the one in F 9-11 where Bush is speaking to the fat cats at a fundraiser. There was nothing in that movie that burned my ass more than hearing that one single line from him.
And the fact that they keep calling Kerry "elite" is even more reason to put this out for the public to see. This one film clip will show you that the Bushies KNOW that THEY are truly the party of the elite! I just don't understand why this is not a commercial airing on every television across this country!!!

2. Good idea
Hey, I'm just east of you in the "Inland Empire." (A Republican must have dreamed up that name, eh?)
I'm writing to everyone I can to urge them to use this self-incriminating statement. I think it's the one of the most telling thing I've heard * say. Not only does it tell you who he really stands for, it makes a mockery of the right's claim that Kerry is the chosen man of the elite.

3. I wanted to post the same exact thing!
I can't start a thread yet due to post count, so I am thrilled someone else started this thread.

There couldn't be a more effective ad than Bush giving his "Have and Have More's" line dressed in his tuxedo at some fancy dinner. If the Kerry campaign won't run this type of ad, Moveon.Org should. This type of ad would be as effective as Willie Horton was against Mike Dukakis.

I'd also love to see an ad with the footage from 2001 of Rice, Powell, and other's claiming that Iraq was NO THREAT to the United States. The theme of this ad could be "and they call John Kerry a flip flopper?"

4. if this were aired in a campaign ad...
...whoever put it out would be immediately nailed by the GOP. In fairness, those remarks were made by Bush at a hospital fundraiser in Oct. 2000 (which Al Gore also attended) where both candidates made fun of themselves, and the statement by Bush was obviously in jest.
