A question about a radio station's sounder which is political. |
|
One of the local Clear Channel stations constantly plays a sounder between commercial breaks and songs in which Bush tells the drivers of a recent NASCAR race, "Gentlemen, start your engines."
I come to expect such partisanship from Clear Channel.
Would this fall under some "equal time" policy the media follow? There are time when TV stations do not carry movies in which a political candidate appears during an election season. It happened with Arnold Schwarznegger when he ran for California governor last year. Would this sounder fall under the same category?
