Feelings have run high and people have gotten defensive about the candidate they support and nasty about the opposing candidate. People have become emotionally invested in the candidate they support. When push comes to shove, the big slam is to claim you will not vote for the opponent. The ultimate is that not only will they not vote for the opposing candidate, but claim they will vote for McCain.

Words. For the most part, just words. It's an easy button to push to get the other sides' goat and many take it to heart and believe it. Ultimately I hope that all will come around and support the nominee of our party. The stakes are far too high for pouts or personal hurt feelings. Neither candidate is responsible for the words and actions of their millions of supporters, and SURPRISE!: neither of our candidates are perfect, but both are light years better than McCain.

So everybody in the circular fire squad turn around and let's kick some Republican ass!
