FL and MI discussions are irrelevant. Obama will seat them and ensure they vote as he wins anyway. |
|
And, the process is already going to be completely revamped for the next primary season.
So, can we stop this now? It bothers me that so many people are spending so much time and effort arguing a completely meaningless argument. We have McCain to defeat in November.

2. I just want it on the record as to people who insist on the argument that they shouldn't be seated |
|
Obama will make the pragmatic and political argument to seat the delegates, and the DNC will comply. And that will be the right thing to do.
I just wish he would have made the argument prior to him sewing up the nomination, but whatever. A right decision for the wrong reason is still the right decision. Just like I'm sure Hillary Clinton would probably not have raised as much of a stink about seating Florida and Michigan had she not won the primaries there.
Whatever self-minded motives they both have, it still is the right thing to do, to respect the voters of the state and reject the foolish notion of collective punishment of the voters which can only do us harm.
