If Terry, Howard or Hillary try to make a big fuss about the popular vote.......
I say we blast the news stations with emails reminding them that this does not count caucus states (a point they never make when one of the Clinton crew starts spewing this point).

I didn't realize this until someone pointed it out to me.... and it is always a big surprise to my friends (and they all follow this closely)

1. It counts most caucus states. 4 of them haven't released pop vote totals

11. It's practically impossible to count true vote totals in caucuses.
Candidates who don't meet threshold in a particular precinct lose all their votes. That doesn't mean people didn't vote for them.

6. Doesn't it also not count the votes for "uncommitted"?
So, Hillary gets her votes, but Obama doesn't get the votes for uncommitted (which actually could have been for any of the candidates, ie. Edwards, Biden, etc..).

Now that I think about it, Michigan is a big mess.

I wish we'd be able to just revote... Hell, even in California Obama now polls +6 over Hillary.

7. It doesn't fully represent states with bad weather
Popular vote counts neglect factoring in countless uncontrollable variables that affect turnout.

8. Anyone with me? I've just heard 4 Hillary supporters say this
and not any retort from Mathews, Olberman, etc....

9. The pundits KNOW it is over. They're after ratings, and if they shot down every
ill-informed, pandering and lying Hillary surrogate that came on their show, they'd have nothing to talk about.

Its part of the game. Be patient. Obama is the nominee.

13. Still.... I don't think it would be a bad idea to shame them into disclosing this
I know it's over..... but you'd be surprised how many people don't understand this (I've had to explain to many why she can't win and they still don't buy it)

14. I've been saying this from the beginning
Besides which, the rules of the Party give no weight to "popular vote". It's a total non-starter.
