Repubs lose three straight congressional races - Yet Obama can't win in Red States
Will the Hillary supporter please explain the logic, given that Repubs have lost three straight special elections in the last 60 days, and that each of these elections were in districts that went overwhelmingly for Bush in '00 and '04, how is it stated that Obama can't turn some states? Also, how is it that Obama won't be able to hold the states won by Kerry and Gore?

Educate me because recent outcomes seem to contradict the Clinton logic.

2. Not only that, the Repubs tried to tie Obama to the races each time, and lost.

3. It's not as though
the Democratic candidates in these districts are the most awesome miraculous incredible people on the planet. People are voting for change and they will vote for Obama just as they voted for these guys.

No one wants more of the same. Even the Republicans. Maybe some of them have some problem with the Black guy but given the alternative? McCain is toast.

4. Are you predicting that Obama will win Mississippi?
Because Childers is a conservative Democrat, who can win Mississippi. Obama is a much more progressive Democrat.
One thing does not have to do with the other.

And remember that Childers had to distance himself from Obama in order to win.

6. No I am not
Am I suggesting Obama will win Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, (a Clinton supporter earlier questioned his ability in these states) I am also suggesting that he will win Colorado, New Mexico, Virginia, Florida and in the upsets of all Arizona. (well scratch that.

5. I am not a Clinton supporter, but the special election
cannot be used as justification for saying that Obama will win Mississippi in November. Just as he won't win Utah, Wyoming, Texas and a host of other red, red states. He has a good chance in Virginia, New Hampshire and Iowa, states that are more purple than true red. But he ain't winning in Mississippi.

7. let me clarify my point
Clinton and her supportes continue to follow the old rules and methods. That is winning the rust belt, North East and West Coast.

They also questioned the 50 state strategy, my point is not that Obama will win Mississippi, my point is that he can pick off some states that went for Bush in 04 by less that 10 points.

10. That I can agree with
Though I also think she would have been able to pull a few of those states as well, just not as many as Obama likely can. We very likely either win big or lose big with any candidate this year.

12. Americans will not vote a community organizer
for POTUS

That is like having surgery done by a 4th grader that knows the lyrics to Dry bones

With the leg bone connected
to the knee bone,
and the knee bone connected
to the thigh bone,
and the thigh bone connected
to the hip bone.

19. It's looking like a Democratic year because the Repuke brand is
so old. Old Man McCain, no new ideas, a shitty economy and an unpopular war are all conspiring to deep six the GOP this year. I just hope it holds. If it does, it'll be a blow out for the Democrats.
