...that they aren't Democrats. To all those telling us to leave the party, or, better yet, be thrown out of the party because of our refusal to kneel at the altar of the chosen one, have a look at this:

And chose to ignore it rather than engage it, try to understand it.

If I'm on anyone's ignore list, I am simultaneously saddened that the ostrich effect would become such a lazy refuge, and flattered that I could present views that shake the insecure little world of those who prefer mirrors to reality.

24. ah...yeah, sure, ok.
your orignal reply was that Hillary supporters had "freeped" that poll to make Obama supporters look bad, right?

Even though there are far more Obama supporters here, as acknoledged even by Skinner?

And that view has been vindicated? By me?

Please, enlighten me.

25. The big question is...
Will Obama supporters be able to turn off the hatred when he is the nominee?

Or will they continue to try and justify it or make excuses for it and destroy the party in the process??

26. Are you another low information voter for Hillary?
I never said the poll WAS freeped, I said it could have been. As any child of 10 can tell you, online polls mean absolutely nothing other than a certain number of people know how to click a mouse. I'd suggest you find a 10 year old child to have them explain that to you as I'm finding your friends in the Hillary camp look down on that learnin' stuff.

31. Why? Are you going to post something racist like some other Hill supporters have tonight?
If you do then I'll call it out as racist. And since you started with the false charges you have little room to act offended. But I'm sure you will anyway. The true mark of a Hillary supporter is how quickly they can jump into professional victim mode.

38. Chewed on, I stand corrected.
I didn't actually see anyone advocate throwing fellow Dems out of the Party but there were posts which came close enough as far as I am concerned....(and there was at least two of them), I stand corrected. The OP said that he was being rhetorical early on in the thread as he was being called out for even excusing our fellow Dems.

One thing that we should be able to take pride in is that we have a big tent, we want to bring folks in and educate them if needs-be but throwing folks out is utter utter nonsense! (I suspect that you agree). I noticed one, 'boppers', (who has only been here since Feb.) who seemed especially keen on NOT wooing Dixiecrat Dems...hmmm.. he(she?) got what I would have expected from our fellow DUers but it did not seem to do any good. That is how things should be, we should be willing to educate not be into tossing folks who are here to join us. Our fellow DUers attempted to educate 'boppers' but I suspect things fell on deaf ears. That said, even though I disagree with 'boppers', tossing this person out of the party would be madness.

Good on you Skip Intro, I thought for sure that you were stirring up something that IMO did not need stirring up. I thought to call you out on it because I for one am sick of all the needless flame-baiting. Your assertion, as it turns out was not more of that flame-baiting. You stood up for yourself when I figured you would not have been able to do so. I underestimated how stupid our fellow DUers can get and you have a right to be outraged...I am equally outraged!

To you Skip Intro:

20. Awhile back I asked Obama supporters if Hillary will or should be McCain's runningmate
28% said yes. Does this not suggest that they are either resigned or actively interested in removing her supporters from the Democratic party?

30. Nopity
It suggests Senator Clinton herself not being in the party. Plenty of our fellow DUers have said that Senator Clinton's tactics are not the reflection of what they felt Democratic campaign methods should be... generally not in THOSE words, (ie calling her tactics rovian or republican and etc.). Nowhere in that poll to include those 25 votes is there any mention of tossing fellow Dems out of the party because of who they back. The closest I could find was in a response by Hippo_Tron who said he would love a party split but even that post never advocated chucking fellow Dems just because they back a specific candidate.

I've heard some out-n out-silliness on this board but that....well words escape me. I am a bit of a DU junkie but I haven't seen anything THAT spectacularly stupid so far. Had I actually seen it, I suspect that it would have been followed up by a few unkind words from backers on BOTH sides of these primaries. Party unity right now ain't what it could be but calling for the ouster of our fellow Dems is...well... madness doesn't even come close.

of course, i'm not telling anybody they should be kicked out or whatever, and if any i have only seen a few or as many hillary supporters saying things like that, but...

if i for one voted 'no effing way' in that poll, and i don't know if i did or not, but if i did, it was likely cast very much tongue in cheek, b/c those polls are stupid, and they are basically loaded questions/flamebait, just as the "____________ supporters are meanies" theads are.

congratulations on the win (not tongue in cheek). :hi:

15. Well, dear Hillary supporters, which is it?
Is it the case that:

A: Hillary supporters are more likely to bolt if Obama is the nominee, thus making Hillary stronger than Obama in the GE?

or

B: Obama supporters are just as disloyal as Hillary supporters, if not more so?

I've seen both, often from the same people, and I'd like to know which you believe.

I am going to be behind the Democratic candidate whether it be Obama or Clinton. I actually had this argument with a couple of fellow Obama supporters at a primary-watching party a few months ago. I made it crystal clear that I'll be standing behind the Democratic nominee, even if he/she isn't my first choice!
