Does Kerry need to hit up the issue of future judicial appointments? |
|
If Bush gets 4 more years?
I think he should. The idea of a Scalia Supreme Court should be very sobering to any thinking person.

1. But ONLY To These "Thinking Persons" You Mention |
|
Who ARE these so-called "thinking persons" and where are they all? Why are they hiding? We need more of them.

2. I agree totally ..he needs to start talking about the implications of this |
|
This election is the biggest one in my lifetime..
I think it would do Kerry good to remind people that the Supreme court will RADICALLY change with Bush in office and how much they will be able to help neo-cons shift our democracy

3. Kerry has mentioned this in his speeches. - |
|
I attended a Kerry rally in Cincinnati in April. Sen. Kerry spoke on many issues including jobs, health care, defense, etc. He concluded by saying,(paraphrasing) If none of this means anything to you in this election, I have three words for you, "The Supreme Court".
One guy asked me on the way out what he meant by that, and I had to explain.

4. No. Democrats are United. Don't excite the Bush Base |
|
The Bush base would only get motivated to go out and vote if this issue is pushed. Let them sleep or peel them away on other issues like deficits, Patriot Act, and Iraq.

5. A great talking point to use to non-informed swing voters: |
|
2 of the 9 Supreme Court justices are Dem-appointed. 7 are from Republicans. Wouldn't you like to see more balance on the court?
hehe..
