So far all those Clinton supporters mad at Keith
Because he said some mean things about your candidate, did you watch the Special Comment he just did? That is why Olbermann is such an important person, and why it is so unbelievably stupid to call him a bunch of names just because he doesn't like your candidates cheap and dirty tactics.

1.  Keith is the only one with the courage to tell the unvarnished truth
about the narcissistic fool in the WH. This was one of his best.

3. Interesting timing on that rant of his
it coincided with the sweeps ratings period for television. Don't guess Keith knew anything about it being a ratings period huh? :eyes:

4. The man made an ass of himself, pure and simple.

If he's back in good form, I'm glad.

On edit: I would bet money on it that your idea of news people are Rush and Hannity. Just have that gut feeling about you.

6. God forbid we actually expect newsman, who quotes Edward R. Murrow, to be objective
whether or not he "likes" a particular candidate really shouldn't be the issue. It is shoddy to present yourself as objective, and then not practice what you preach. Isn't that the problem we all have with "fair and balanced"?

Please.

7. In my time on this earth, I have yet to come across someone I

could agree w/100%...if I did, I'd be scared to death. I don't even agree w/myself 100% of the time, I have been known to change my mind, as hopefully everyone is capable of doing as well.

Olberman is no different than any other individual, and to spite him because he does not fall "in line" w/what some think is to show me the height of arrogance. As far as news people go, I find people I can't agree w/at all; most of the time, those I listen to come in at about 75% agreement w/my views...but I am appreciative that they give me another POV other than mine, it gives me other perspectives, something I need to make informed decisions.

FWIW, in the past, I did not agree w/that icon Walter Cronkite on everything he put out there, but I believe he did the best he could to get the truth out. Edward R. Murrow, another icon in the news industry, also had his flaws, but nothing like the corporate "news" we are seeing these days. Pundits have replaced journalists on TV, they are more eye candy and opinions that news, but a few outlets such as NPR give a relatively balanced and in depth view.

There is more to KO than meets the eye, while one may not agree w/his POV on some subjects, he is one of the very few who will come out and call bush the vicious bastard he is. He has no fear in bringing out the realities of the mess this administration has placed this nation in, and is one of the very few who call it like it is on many issues. Like everyone else, he makes errors, but like exceptionally few, he admits to them, on air, and makes an attempt to rectify the error.

After listening to his "Special Comment" last night...I am glad he has the fortitude to take on the neo-cons, especially bush and cheney. He is one of the extraordinarily few that have taken on bush, and for that we should all be grateful, for he is a participant in taking out the neo-con agenda.
