Obama, get your butt to NorthEast Florida....

I see Obama is coming to Florida finally but he is doing the southern sweep up to Orlando only. Why isn't he coming to Northeast Florida or the Panhandle? Again, I am feeling left out. There ARE plenty of people in these two places that support him and there is also a large black population in Jacksonville. What is he thinking?????

and he'll have time to get to Florida again. I somehow doubt he's going to abandon that state after a quick pass. Relax.

Yes, Jax is nice, but it is really RED and CONSERVATIVE.....

5. Oh, The local news is announcing here that he is coming to FL very soon but he is only

going to do the Southern part of the state from W. Palm to Tampa and then Orlando. NE Florida is McCain country unfortunately. But, he does not need to usurp us, either or we will begin to feel like W. Virginia. And, I'll take his butt if nothing else....even one of his cigarette butts... :rofl:

This is part of the fundamental change that Obama is bringing to the Democratic Party. We're writing the little people off now. Get with the program.

10. Jacksonville (NE Florida) isn't small beans anymore....we had

the Superbowl here a couple years ago, remember? The houses here aren't shacks, either (just inland NE Florida). I think he isn't coming here because the BUSH's come here ALL the time (remember Dubya was here the day before 911) and Hillary has been here last year. Kerry came four years ago and they drew a pretty big crowd but were picketed by the Conservatives outside of the Landing and it got kinda nasty. I am anxious to see if anything has changed.

But, there is a LOT of money in Jax.....and North Jax has a large black population who was "disenfranchised" in 2000 (remember Fahrenheit 911 and Corrinne Brown in the opening scenes?) The only problem is that Corrinne has been promoting Hillary. Obama needs to capture her group now and speak to the rest. And, as for the rest of us little people, we have also given heavily to his campaign, remember, so I'm not sure what you mean by "down market"? And, I don't even belong to the Democratic Party...I'm an Independent...

avoiding North Florida, he will eventually get round to
visiting there.
